"Vote for your best role model."

Kakato Animal Furdel Awards aim to inspire a positive attitude towards life with uplifting stories and appeal for public support to and participation in building an inclusive community where humans and animals can get along harmoniously, by recognizing the most influential Furdels and Furkid Angels in animal welfare.

Kakato Animal Furdel Awards introduce three categories: ‘Cat of the Year’, ‘Dog of the Year’, and ‘Furkid Angel of the Year’. Good deeds deserve social recognition. Inspiring animals from different adoption centres and/or animal shelters should receive public acknowledgement for their positive energies and impact on others, despite their deplorable experiences or physical disabilities. Their generosity towards the world amid adversity is worth learning from. The Awards aim to appeal for public attention and support pet adoption. Let’s complete their tough lives with a loving home.

Kakato Animal Furdel Awards adopt a combined voting system in which winners are to be determined through voting by honourary judges (40%) and public voting (60%). All awardees and nominees are entitled to prizes worth of more than 100,000 Hong Kong dollars in total in support of animal-saving mission conducted by either individual volunteers, adoption centres and/or animal shelters.
