Nominate 2024

Kakato^® Animal Furdel Awards were established by Dr. April Fong, the founder of Kakato^® Premium Pet Food, during the pandemic in 2022. The aim is to share inspirational stories related to animals and encourage people to face life’s challenges with a positive mindset. Additionally, the awards seek to raise awareness and support for organizations that rescue stray animals and individuals who quietly care for homeless furry companions in different ways. The awards acknowledge their resilience and selfless dedication by presenting three categories: “Furdel Cat”, “Furdel Dog” and “Furkid Angel”.

The third Kakato^® Animal Furdel Awards nominations are now accepted from the public. The result will be determined by honorary judging panel (40%) and public vote (60%). All of the winners will receive bonuses and prizes with a total value of more than HK$120,000 and the nominators of the winners will also receive bonuses and prizes.

Public Nominations Period: 1 to 31 August 2024
Nominators are required to write a touching or inspirational story about the candidate’s cats or dogs or animal volunteers and through its/his/their true story, encourage people to take action to protect animals and respect life without fear of setbacks.

Nominators who are successfully confirmed will receive a MaxiPro electronic cash coupon HK$50. Please fill in and submit the form and we will notify and confirm the validity of your nominated candidate via email.

Nominations Terms and Conditions:

• Each nominee must be nominated by one person and self-nominations are not allowed.
• Each nominator is limited to nominating one candidate, which can be from the categories of Cats, Dogs or Furkid Angel.
• Each participant can only be nominated once and any repeated nominations will be deemed invalid.
• The content of the story submitted by the nominator must be true and not fictitious. In the event of any dispute, Kakato^® and all organizations involved with the event will not be held responsible.
• By submitting the nomination form, the nominator confirms that they have obtained the consent of the participant whose information is included on the form. In the event of any dispute, Kakato^® and all organizations involved with the event will not be held responsible.
• During the event period, the organizer may modify, adjust, and translate the content submitted by the nominator to meet the needs of the event and the format of promotional materials. The organizer will not provide separate notification to the nominator/participant regarding any modifications, adjustments, or translations, and the nominator/participant shall not raise any objections. All modifications, adjustments, and translations will be based on the content submitted by the nominator.
• The content and photos submitted by the nominator cannot contain any infringing, violating, or illegal content, or content that promotes violence, pornography, or racism, otherwise the nomination will be disqualified. The organizing institution will contact the nominator using the email or phone number provided. The nominator must provide true and complete personal information for themselves and the participant, otherwise they may be disqualified.
• We promise to protect the personal information provided and comply with all relevant privacy laws and regulations. All information provided in this form will only be used for purposes related to the event.
• The nominator must complete this form and submit it through the website before the deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Once the form is submitted, the nominator and candidate agree to accept all application rules and terms set by the organizer.
